How long have you been supporting the Foundation?
Since 2002, I discovered the Foundation through a friend

How did you discover your passion ?
When I was 10, I lived in a very little village in the region of Charente (France) and I wanted to do some sport to meet people and girls… I pushed the Club’s door after some friends from school had told me about it and I directly loved it and it’s still going on 30 years later!

Which is your course ?
At the age of 15, I entered a sport and study program in Poitiers to conciliate my passion and my studies. I got my baccalaureate with great success, and my sports trainer certificate before I went on with my University studies in Geographics. I took the master.

What are your best performances ?
Olympic Champion in Judo in 1996 in Atlanta (USA), double world Champion in 1995 and 1997 in Japan and in Paris, World University Champion in 1994 in Germany, double European Champion in team in 1993 and 2000.

What’s your best memory in your career?
The Olympic Games in Atlanta of course ! It’s at that moment that the big public started to know me

What’s your worst memory in your career?
The European Championships in Gdansk in 1993 where I lost my 2 fights because of the referee’s decision with this feeling that I hadn’t given my maximum.
